POSITION: Freelance Graphic Designer
DATE: 6/01/14
A small but growing boutique digital design agency is looking for a freelance Graphic Designer to assist with occasional overflow projects.
While there is no guarantee of assignments, we hope that as we grow as a company this position, will turn into a part-time or even a full-time position.
Applicant must be a bona fide independent contractor. No ad agencies or recruiters please.
Ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience and be located in the Irvine area. Most of the projects are print design projects, many of which will require modification of previously designed pieces and typesetting of new copy.
Applicant must have a high attention to detail, integrity and be able to usher projects from concept to the printing press and must fully understand the production and flight-check process.
Applicant must be able to turn projects around on a short notice and in a short timeframe. Applicant will work from home, but occasional offsite meetings may be required.
Applicant must have proven experience with the Adobe Design Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign) on a Mac platform and have access to the latest Adobe Creative Suite – CS 6.
